The mission of the Iowa Tribe Police Department is to uphold the constitutional sovereignty and customs of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma; protect life and property and to promote and preserve the peace within the territory of the Tribe. We are committed to being a leader among tribal law enforcement agencies. We understand our employees are a valuable resource and will strive to maintain the quality of public service through committed leadership direction, career development, succession planning and training. We will actively develop strategies to eradicate criminal activity and any conditions that have a detrimental impact on the public’s safety. This will be accomplished by using modern law enforcement models and best practices.
