Osage Nation Police Department

The Mission of the Osage Nation Police Department is to provide law enforcement services under the jurisdiction of the Osage Nation. The ONPD officers' primary duty is to enforce the criminal laws of the Osage Nation and the Federal Government when major crimes have been committed within state and local jurisdictions. Officers also have a duty to serve the person and to protect the property of the citizens of the community. The Osage Nation Police Department will assist the Osage Nation in protecting and enhancing Tribal Sovereignty along with protecting the religious and ceremonial beliefs of the Osage people.
